India is home to one of the most abundant solar resources in the world, with 2,079 million square kilometers of tropical and subtropical land and an average of 250-300 clear sunny days a year. With recent government initiatives and planning announcements, its geographic advantage, existing industrial and research infrastructure and its enormous market potential, India will see transformational changes in solar PV.
